Hello everyone,

 

Recently when I play games like Overwatch I get FPS that ranged from 20-35 however, when I restart my pc, I get around 50-60 why this may be?

 

 

CPU: Intel Pentium G3258 @4.2 GHz

GPU: MSI GTX 970 Gaming

Motherboard: Gigabyte Z97MX- GAMING 5 LGA 1150

RAM: 8 GB

PSU: Corsair CX600

Monitor: BenQ 24-Inch Gaming Monitor - LED 1080p HD Monitor - 1ms- RL2455HM)

Storage: Samsung SSD 850 EVO 500GB

I've had an issue similar to this with my i7 6700k, I found out it's because the CPU clock would drop down even when gaming. I fixed it by using the asus turbo clock utility (you can have your pc overclock based on what programs you're running). Try changing the minimum processor state in your power plan and see if that fixes your issue.
