Got new computer. Everything is working fine. I have it on ethernet but there is no internet. I am on windows 10. Motherboard: Gigabbyte GA-P55-UD3L. The cpu is an intel i7. Gtx 760. I tried downloading the lan drivers for the motherboard but there are no drivers for windows 10 so i tried installing the win 7 drivers but they didn't work, saying something about deep sleep mode. I believe i just need to download certain drivers but i cannot find them.

I had a similar issue with the pc I'm currently using being a salvage system and it turned out that the Ethernet I was using was bad. if you have the chipset drivers installed on board Ethernet should already have appropriate drivers. windows troubleshooting would show it as damaged port or cable but inside device manager the network card should show as working properly when you check the properties.
