Hello,

My grandpa bought a Lenovo H30-05 today. I'm trying to install windows 10 via usb on it. It starts booting, but when i come to where im supposed to select on which disk to install it, the following massage displays and i cant continue: Windows cannot be installed to this disk. The selected disk is of the GPT partition style. I went into bios and turned legacy mode off and choose UEFI mode as default. But the problem still persists and is the same when i come to this step. Anyone know what is wrong?

Regards, Josh

the drive is not UEFI compatible. Use Legacy Mode only.

Try going to the USB drive letter (D:\ maybe?) and running the setup program.

cd D:\

setup

But as you did before, and erase the whole disk, create a new partition and you will be fine to install.

If I boot it like i did, i get this: if I translate it to English its something like this: Windows cant be installed on this disk. The selected disk has a partition table with the main drive. In EFI systems, you can isntall windows only on GPD disks.

So I just erase all those portions?

Yes. Use the delete icon on each partition, then select drive 0 after everything is deleted and you'll be able to install W10.
