Bootloop while flashing to stock ROM

 I just installed Lineage OS and it works fine. Problem is there is no Google apps play store so I need to get Gapps
But in order to get Gapps flashed I need to reboot into custom recovery like CWM or TWRP. 
I couldn't figure out how to install CWM or TWRP at the first place so kinda ignore it thinking nothing will happen.

I flashed LineAge OS with TWRP app downloaded from Play Store, the phone prior to bootloop was rooted.

I used odin on my PC to flash to stock rom and it just gives me bootloop, the samsung logo just fades in and out like on a bootloop

Samsung G903W is the model number.

**I used to be able to flash to custom rom when my phone was blocked by FRP lock due to me not enablling OEM unlock via Odin.

I only had an issue once when I had tried to update the OS a lot but hadn't updated the other necessary things, and the mismatch caused a problem.  Make sure you flash any appropriate kernels, etc. that come along with the image.

I agree. Basically, find a way to flash TWRP, Odin was the champ when I had Cyanogen Recovery (no flashing roms) and a broken CM13 build. I pushed TWRP to my Samsung tablet with Odin and flashed LineageOS after.

How do I flash twrp with odin? O downloaded the img for my s5 neo, put phone to recovery mode, connected and used odin to flash that img and it would say PASS but upon rebooting to recovery mode it would go back to usual screen not twrp

Search kies and get the right version. Otherwise idk. Look through an in-depth tutorial

from a totally not shady chinese site with bunhc of adware and malware /s

 

it's some site, don't recall. but i was able to use that stock image to reflash in my second as i said in my second last line of OP

 

anyway its fixed
