3x 1080p gaming? no

1x 1080p gaming at medium/high? yes

overwatch/cs no problem, PUGB might not run at high 1080p (cant even do very high 1440p on a 1080)

iirc on newer motherboards you can plug into your motherboard and dGPU and it'll render from dGPU but you get more displays

something to do with laptops wanting it, intel providing it, then shoving it onto desktop because why not

If I do recall correctly, sir, you are able to plug in multiple displays using the headers on your motherboard and your graphics card. It will be rendered by your graphics card, but it will be outputted to both a display that is connected to the motherboard and the graphics card.

Intel has made this a option on laptops at first, because there was demand that you can plug in HDMI into the laptop and have it output and be displayed by the discrete graphics card in the laptop. So, Intel did that. And they also put it on desktops, because why not?

buying z97 would be useless as you have a locked CPU

Go with whichever is cheapest. They all perform about the same and the 1050Ti doesn't get very warm so any of the coolers will be good.
