Here are 2 builds I've made AMD Ryzen 7 1700 & Intel i7 7700k. Now I'm an avid gamer, I do not and will not stream/edit so which one should I go for 7700k or 1700 there's been some controversy between the two chips I'm just looking for guidance - this will be my first build.

Use pc part picker, it will make all our lives easier

I'd go for AMD. Unless you care about gaming and only gaming and nothing else but gaming, than I'd go for Intel.
