1. You don't need a 9950 Evo for a budget build, same thing with WD Black. Just get 850 Evo or similar cheaper SSD and Seagate Barracuda

2. Corsair CXM is also good, saves you some money

3. As stated above, get a R5 1600 instead. Better for less

4. You don't need Windows pro.

5. No price on mobo and dvd drive?

With CAD work and the like, a CPU with more cores than the i5's 4 cores and 4 threads (No hyperthreading), potentially such as a Ryzen hexacore may be more suited to your needs.

Do you have an old desktop pc, if so take the dvd drive from that if you really need it. As a DVD drive is not really needed if 1 you have a USB Memory Stick(unsure of the english name) that is around 6gb + for windows and such. And if you have ok + internet connection, then you can get most programs without any dvds needed.

From 2001-2014 I had 156Kb/s Down and 0,02 Kb/s up. Now I have 35/35 Mb/s, it has truly changed my life.

Thanks for the replies. I will look into the AMD Ryzen 1600 Processor.

Do you have any recommended alternative Motherboards compatible with the Ryzen 1600 Processor (AM4 Chipset).

With regards to the storage, I was looking at the 850 Evo originally but the price difference was only £30 so thought I would go with the 950 Evo as the boot drive. I could go with a cheaper disk drive as suggested which would save a bit.

A disk drive will probably be recovered from an old computer if required. I will look at the prices for Windows as Windows 10 Home would be fine.

Only 30 hmm that isn't much but still, your budget isn't too high so 30 might still mean a lot. Also take a look at Adata SU800 or Crucial MX300 which is cheaper and also good (and extra storage too).

You could buy an oem windows pro key online for like $30.
