Hey guys I'm looking to upgrade my rig.

Currently have

CPU: AMD Phenom II x4 945

Ram: 8GB DDR2

GPU: GTX 560

HDD: 1TB Storage/120GB Boot SSD

PSU: 750Watt OCZ ZT Series (overkill I know, but was bought for this exact situation)

Cooler: H100

I would be re using the case, CPU cooler, HDD/SSD, PSU, and possibly the Graphics card unless you can talk me out of it.

I have a budget of about 400-500 and have been looking at getting a 3rd or 4th gen i5-k

I mainly play WoW which my current rig runs fine, and BF4 which is chugging along at low settings. Any advice would help. Not sure if I should go for the i5 and not upgrade my GPU or a AMD Six/Eight core and possibly upgrade my GPU.

That's the thing, unless they are planning to announce and release it before the holidays haha. This is supposed to be a xmas gift.
