So i have Ram that is listed as compatible on both AMD and Patriots Website as compatible with Ryzen 7 however when i get into windows it crashes with the BSOD error Memory managment. Normally i would just get some other ram but i cannot wait for shipping. Is their anyway for it to be fixed and work? Just in case you need to know its the Viper PVE48G213C4GY

+1 have an msi mortar with some gskill, rams rated at 3200 18 16 16 16 34, can only run it at 3066 cl16

what board you using? try relaxing timings and dropping the speed?

How do you relax timings? I already tried dropping speed but it was 2133 to start with

so instead of going for tight timing- (lower numbder= tighter. relax them by going from say- 16/16/16 to 18/18/18

and JDec is 2133, try xmp/Axmp/DOCP.

Okay figured it out changed it from 2133 to 1866 and changed latency to 18/18/18/18/32 still no dice. Then tried it with 2133 also did not work

I got the cup the day it came out I so I can't RMA?

Have you tried new RAM? Have you tried another CPU, a new disk, etc?

It makes very little sense to keep a platform that doesn't perform up to its rated specs.
