Hey all, i recently bough an MSI 7950 twin frovr 3 which is a great card, but when the temperature gets to around 55 degrees and above the fan speed automatically ramps up to 100% and ignores any manual fan speeds set though MSI afterburner, any ideas what's wrong? Thanks.

Iv tried using AMD Overdrive and it can control the fan speed, i lowed it down although it does still ramp up a bit when it gets to around that temp it's a load quieter then it used to be, i noticed it first do it when i was playing the new tomb raider so i may have to try it out on some other applications first, i'll post back what i find out, Thanks guys.

I just ran FurMark with MSI afterburner uninstalled and everything on default with the fan speeds on auto, when ever it reaches 55C the fan speeds keeps getting higher then lower and higher and so on, but if i minimize FurMark the fan speeds return to normal even if the temp is still 55, maximize again and it goes mad again,
