So with the holidays around I'm looking to get some new parts for my rig. Not to sure what stuff is considered an upgrade so I'll just leave my specs and see what you guys have to say. Budget is around 500-600$

CPU: I5 750 @3.8ghz
GPU: XFX 7850 2GB (Just bought an R9 290 so this doesn't really count)
RAM: 8GB GSKILL
Hard Drive: Hitachi 465GB
Mother Board: GIGABYTE P55M-UD2
Power Supply: 700W

Also If anyone has some suggestions on a good case that would be helpfull cuz the one i currently have is way to small. Thanks in advance for the help.

Ok so adding all of this is a bit out of my budget so if I really had to pick a piece which one should I get. I can get the case but ill have to decide between the MB and the cpu

you cant decide between the MB and CPU they go to gether

ditch the SSD for now. and change the case if you want the case is all subjective.

kind of a waste to be upgrading to haswell that i5 750 can run ANY game on ultra already

and it can be OC'ed to 4/4,5Ghz

imho only go for the SSD and maybe extra HDD if u need the space/load time speed up

if not keep ur money and wait until Intel/AMD comes out with a new cpu line

the current ones wont give u a good worthy and noticable boost of performance

http://pcpartpicker.com/parts/partlist/

Upgrades are

SSD

1TB WD black

case Define R4

and an I5-4670k

and ASUS gryphen

You need to post the permalink, not the url.

Yeah I'm in the US going to check that stuff out now.

His link links you to your own list. Ignore whatever you saw.

Yeah, it's a serious question. There are many different ways to use a system and how you build it should revolve around it. A 3d animation computer is quite different from one for gaming and such.

oh I thought you were asking the other quote.

I have

1TB HDD

64GB SSD

350D

ASUS gryphen-the board is great as long as you are not going to go crazy with add on cards and go no more than 2 way SLI/xfire

4670k

cooled with H220

HD 7950

That doesn't answer the question ._.

Do you use the system to game? Just browse the web? Edit some videos? Edit music? Etc.

I should read question rather than just skim them.

I game @ 1440p

In that case, my recommendations: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/2d9NN

Case is subjective to your preference to looks. Skip the psu if the one you have is sufficient.
