1. Budget & Location

UK- £3000

2. Aim

Streaming and playing the latest games, running VMs with bots etc.

3. Monitors

1/2

4. Peripherals

No need.

5. Why are you upgrading?

I wanna stream and play games on ultra settings. But I don't know if this amount is too much to spend on a PC. I want the PC to be quiet and not suffer any heating problems. Also run some VMs in the background when streaming if it is possible.

Thank you for helping in advance.

Anyways, wait for ThreadRipper (august 10) but I wouldn't wait for Vega 64.

I wouldnt wait for threadripper as it is that good in gaming probably like the same single threaded performance as a r5 1600... Vega 64 seems alright but I think a 1080ti SLI for 3000squids will be better. However, IMO £3000 is too much and I think you should try to not exceed £2500, if you want me to choose something around that margin just ask :D

https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/rkWcD8 I made some allround improvements now and only 1 video card - no SLI...  Also how much harddrive space will you need apart from the 250gb os and basic programme ssd?

As a guess I thought esports gamer so maybe he would make use of 180hz with g-sync... 1800X I guess for future proofing - GPUs will not catch up with CPUs for a while...
