Hey guys,

i'm new around here so bare with me please,

In May i built a gaming PC, not sure if its relevant to my question, but the specs are: i7-3770k, Asus P8-Z77-V LK, OC XFX HD 7870, 16GB Corsair Vengeance, WD Black 1TB HDD, Corsair GS800!

I currently have a Logitech LS speaker setup, 2.1 running from on board graphics though i now want to upgrade.  I'm looking for a low-profile sound card to fit between CPU cooler and GPU in PCI-E slot though i don't need any more than 5.1 sound and i also need new speakers to match this.  I don't want to spend more than £100 (British) including Sound Card and Speakers!  I've been looking at a Asus Xonar DGX/DSX with Logitech Z506 speakers though i need some advice on what to go for :)  Remember i need to buy from UK stores!

Any advice or tips on hardware to get at this rather low-end level would be very much appreciated!

Ben

Spend it all on speakers. Edifier should have some good 2.0 monitors in Europe, but I don't know the exact model.
