Best Monitor For Gaming and Graphic Design?

Hello guys, could you recommend a monitor which is suitable for Graphic Design and as well for Gaming? What is important for me, is that the monitor is atleast 2560x1440 resolution and it has a IPS panel since it is mandatory for graphic design. But i also like to play some FPS, like CS:GO. These games require high refresh rate monitors as well if you want to be pretty good at it  so i'm also interested in a high refresh rate monitor. Talking about my budget, it is under 1000 euros.

please speak in things that are standardised, are we talking 1080p? (which would be "2k" in a world where 2160p is "4k") or are we talking 1440p. 2K isnt a standard for joe average displays.

sorry for misunderstanding you, i meant 2560x1440, but i edited it, so it's all fine.

Can we just agree that when someone says 2k everyone knows they mean 1440p..? There's always some guy l coming with this argument when everyone knows what the person is talking about

my issue is that 2K isnt 1440p.

 

i mean, we could agree than when someone says VGA cable they mean displayport, but however much we agree on that, those are very different things.

make sure that if you go for a freesync/gsync panel, you get the one that applies to the gpu you have.
