I have a USB 3.0 storage stick which I purchased not so long ago. I tried plugging it into the USB 3.0 ports on my computer however it just doesn't detect at all. I've checked Device manager but it wasn't there. I also checked Disk management and it wasn't there either. However, when I insert it into a USB 2.0 port it detects and works but only at USB 2.0 speeds which defeats the purpose of purchasing the USB stick in the first place. Is there any course of action I should follow before initiating the RMA battle? (I've tested the USB port on my computers with another external drive which worked fine and achieved the expected read/write speeds)

Thanks in advance
