Hello,

I recently did a refit of my old desktop gaming PC; I purchased a new GPU, RAM, SSD and liquid cooling rig. The Specs I am currently running goes as follows:

CPU: Intel Core i7 4790k

Cooler: NZXT X52

Motherboard: ASUS Maximus Hero VII

Memory: Corsair Dominator Platinum DDR3 16GB (2x8) 2400mhz

Storage: Samsung 850 Evo 500 GB SSD

GPU: EVGA 1080 ti SC2 Hybrid Card (water cooled)

I have had this new configuration for approximately two weeks, during the first week everything was fine as far as performance in games. I run all my games at 1440p on Ultra presets. During the past several days I have had all my games crash within 15 minutes of playing the game without fail. Nothing I am currently running is overclocked, everything is running at stock frequencies. I suspected that there may be a driver issue so I tried updating/replacing the Nvidia graphics driver both using Geforce Experience and getting a direct installer straight from Nvidia's website, I chose to do clean installations on both attempts. In both cases the problem of the games crashing persisted. It might be helpful to note that at one point an error dialogue box appeared when one of the games crashed, mentioning that the problem might in someway pertain to DirectX. Any advice or help on the subject is greatly appreciated.

Thanks
