Issue opening certain programs

So all of a sudden my computer will not open programs and sometimes will not download things either. I can open discord, origin, google chrome, and a couple others but I cannot open avg, malwarebytes, battle.net app, twitch app, battlefield 1. I was able to download and install malwarebytes and then run it and it found nothing. I ran a command through command prompt admin mode to check for messed up files and that came back clean. I cannot for the life of me figure out what's causing this. If anyone knows please let me know!

Hmmm... This seems like a virus, but then again, Malwarebytes found nothing. Open Task Manager, and with the "Performance" tab open, try running a program. If the CPU spikes, then goes back down WITHOUT the program launching, then the program(s) in question may be crashing,

Any Windows updates installed lately? Try to roll back before last updates were installed. Should be under recovery options.
