This originally started with a Gigabyte G42M, but it died (sad face).

Upgrading my super old gaming rig. Originally had some random 775 mobo and a Pentium D 800 series, putting in a Asus P5QL-VB and Q6600. Replacing the GTX 295 with a GTX 650 TI. Pricing for all upgrades below.

Sold

GTX 295 for $25

Pentium D/mobo/ram $10

Paid

Asus P5QL-VB/8GB Ram/Q6600 $35

GTX 650 TI $40

I also bought a Coolermaster Hyper 212 EVO for $10 I think it may be over kill, but I couldn't say no.

Any thoughts?

Looks like you got some good deals on the newer components.

Not as good as I would've liked, after I bought the 650 TI someone posted a Asus GTX 760 OC on Let Go for $60, I bought that a half hour ago and sold the 650 TI. I also picked up two WD Blue 500GB HDD for $5 each and a Samsung 850 Pro 128GB SSD for $40.

Going to have to hit up Best Buy for a 3 1/4 to 2.5 drive thingy, I'm not Linus, I don't trust double sided tape or Velcro strips lol
