hey guys,

so basically my car has a aux input i currently have hooked up a bluetooth dongle to for streaming from my phone. it works great except its way more quiet than if i switch too regular radio playback so is there some simple solution too enhancing volume on aux.

theres no more options in the car to make it louder and software solution for the phone make it sound shit soo im pretty sure i need a small harware solution. ive tried hooking up my headphone amp in between but that didnt appear to have any effect at all.

so yeah im really curious on what you guys.

ps: please dont suggest some expensive sound system swap or upgrade im pretty the stock speakers are good enough if the signal just gets a little stronger. ive had this on my old golf where changing radios made all the difference in the world and i didnt need to upgrade anything else. sadly changing radios is not an option in this car because of the way its set up its just way too much hassle and a compromise anyway.

thanks

You'd need a separate AMP, the dongle clearly can't handle the car radio's impedence. Using a better dongle may or may not solve the problem.

any specific recommendations?

Unfortunately I don't know much about specific models, you could ask for a recommendation in a separate topic.

Don't ask to ask, just ask... please 🤨
