Hello.

I was able to solve the problem. First of all, i owe you an apology for wasting your time. The problem wasn't the drivers at all , the problem was that the USB that i was using was maliciously tricked to show 8 gb of storage space. Because of that the Installer was not able to install correctly.

I used this tool (h2testw) to find that someone tricked me.

Im pretty happy since i can use my computer now (to be honest i was about to give up and install ubuntu) . Thanks for taking the time for helping me.

Hello.

I finally builded my first Pc (yay!) and i'm having some problems with the windows Installation.

In the Windows Setup, just after i choose my language and say "install", this window just pops up:

I actually don't know what to do, i tried to install the driver that says "Sata" in the ASUS Drivers page, but Windows just say that he can't find anything.

For reference, this is my build:

ASUS PRIME B350 PLUS

AMD Ryzen 5 1600

MSI RX 560 AERO ITX

Corsair 2x4 3000 mhz

EVGA 450W 80 plus

HDD 1TB WD

Everything is perfectly detected in the BIOS.

Thanks for the help!

Looks like you are trying to install windows 7?

Anyway, that window is asking for the drivers for your SATA bus,  You need to download this file:  http://dlcdnet.asus.com/pub/ASUS/misc/sata/AMD_AHCI_driver_Win7_V121402.zip

And extract it to a CD or USB drive, browse in that window to that drive and it should work after that.

Mystery is the source of all true science.

No, its Windows 10. I just picked a image from the web because i don't have a camera right now xD, but the message is exactly the same.

Does that file work with Windows 10 too?

It should.  If it doesn't, you may need to download a more recent version of Win 10, that includes the Ryzen drivers.

You can do that with Microsoft's download tool for win 10.

Hahaha, unless i take apart their laptops that's not an option.

But is that good the disc that come with the motherboard? Everyone told me that it was always better to use files from the internet.

I would try to search in the DVD that came with the motherboard for the sata drivers.   Do you have some old PC with an optical drive?

I don't have one, but if it is necessary i would ask a friend to give me his old laptop.

However i can't go to his house until the next weekend, so if we can get other solution it would be great.

You have to unzip the drivers to the root of another flash drive.

When you browsed to the drive in the install program, did windows said that it was the wrong driver?  or did it give you another message?

"Load driver

No new devices drivers were found. Make sure the installation media contains the correct drivers, and then click OK."

I flashed the BIOS to the latest version waiting for a miracle and re-try everything since im out of ideas but no luck.

Windows is asking for drivers for the system,  you could go to Asus page and get all of them.  But most likely is either the Sata, the chipset or the USB controllers that it needs.

https://www.asus.com/us/Motherboards/PRIME-B350-PLUS/HelpDesk_Download/

The couple times I got this message, the problem was the SATA drivers.

Usually the file for the drivers ends in .SYS

Hello...

I just tried to install the SATA Drivers and the Chipset Drivers, but when the installer load them it is still saying that No new Devices drivers were found.

You told me to look for .SYS files, but when i browse it only finds .inf files in the folders. Here an example:

Also, sorry for bugging you,  i don't find solutions  googling and i don't want my new build to be unusable.

I'm very sorry. the .inf files are the drivers.  Don't know why I says sys.

I tried to install all of those going 1 by 1 every single folder but nothing is working yet (since it won't recognize any otherwise). I think that i might be doing something wrong.

I re-downloaded the drivers and re-created the bootable usb just to make sure that any of those was not causing the problem. Its still not working.

Also, i asked a neighbour to give me his laptop to read the disc that came with the motherboard (and in exchange he asked me to make it "faster" so i already cleaned all the bloatware in there).

This is what the disc have inside, i created a little album in imgur to show you: Link

When i'm browsing in the windows installation what should i search in those folders? Also, i suppose that WT64 stands for Windows10 64 bits, so i should get the drivers from those and not the ones that say W764, right?

I thank you again for helping me with this, sorry if i'm making you feel like you are my tech support center.

Ok, from those pictures the driver for the motherboard should be in chipset, not sure if windows had the check mark for "search all sub folders". if not you may need to browser through every folder in the disc and see if any of them are recognized.
