Boot Drive keeps changing back.

Hello, I was setting up a 850 evo yesterday and for some reason every time I boot down my computer, it switches the boot order back having my HDD as my boot drive. Is there anyway to fix this?

I have a entire backup installed on my HDD, and store a lot of files on it. Do I need to format it?

Does the HDD have Windows Installed?

What about the SSD? Does that have Windows?

Yes, I copied all my data over.

Well, You should have done a fresh Install on your SSD so you wouldn't have issues like this. Anyway. Go into the BIOS and change the boot priority. Make sure that the SSD is the in the list.

Yeah that is the problem. I did do that, and it keeps changing back after two restarts.

Okay. Go to your Motherboard Manual and check with key you need to access the boot menu. Then you get to the menu, select the SSD. Once you're into Windows, Go to Disk management and then format the HDD.
