Asus P8H61-M LX3 1600 mhz ram?

Hi! So I'm building a PC with a very strict budget and now I only have ~$35 left.

And for some reason 1600 mhz ram is cheaper than 1333 or even 1066 mhz ram.

 

So I'm asking: Will 1600 mhz ram work in the Asus P8H61-M LX3?

CPU: Intel core I5-2500k $38

Cooler: Intel stock $6.95 (yes, i had to buy a intel stock cooler)

MOBO: Asus P8H61-M LX3 $40

GPU: msi GTX 750 Ti $40

PSU: Thermaltake TR2-S 600w (ik it sucks)

Yes, it'll just run slower then.

Xeon e5649@4.4 GHz on Asus Rampage II Extreme or Gigabyte x58a-OC (whatever I feel like to set up at a time) , 6x4 GB Kingston HyperX 1600, Gainward GTX 670 Phantom, Samsung 840 Evo 240 GB, BeQuiet L8 530W
