Changing System Specs

TechFanboy

Hello,

I need help regarding how to write a startup script,.. well what i want to do is change or edit the computer description/specs in Computer/System Properties.
 w10-system-info.png

So i know there are ways to do this, but i have tried most of it, using notepad and making a shortcut in the startup folder, so everytime windows starts it will update the info.

Tried all of that but it did not work on Windows 10, i have tried it in 7, but i am not sure why it's not working. This is just a prank for my cousin  because I've set him up a new rig and just want him to see it's an old Core 2 Quad CPU when it's a ryzen 5 build. xDxDxD

Thanks in advanced.

I tried it manually.. and it works, It's just that after restarting/shutdown the script doesn't work anymore. Thanks for giving it up a look.

you could use a task scheduler or an ini file to  make the os do what you did while starting up
i dont have an available copy of windows 10 on hand so i cant look for it now
