I have an OS. I would like it to be as cheap as possible with a max of $500. It will be purchased in the upcoming hour or so. I would like to have at least a hectacore, as I will be doing work in CS6, CAD and editing. I will also be heavily gaming at 1440x900, and would like enough power to run Crysis at at least very high at that resolution. I would like to stay in the mATX, I need USB 3, and I will only OC very little. Thoughts?

Note that the CX 430  only has one PCIe power connector. The 7870 will run off of that but larger cards will require more power. You could do some constelation with molex if you ever upgrade to something bigger but I'D just recommend to get the CX 500M in the first place.

who cares...

I was going to use the molex adapter if I needed to. The 500M puts me over budget.

The adapter usually comes with the 7870 but I'm not sure if the one in the build comes with one.

I am pretty good at cable management. Is the extra $20 justifiable?

Really depends on you. If you don't mind a non-modular psu, go ahead.

happy clocking :) it has cpu cooler, mobo 8+2 power phases, 500w psu, you can clock that 7850 also. the case has INCLUDED 3 fans, everything will fit in it including CPU cooler. 6350 was only cuple bucks more than 6300 so i picked it. in future just remove and add new card in and you are good to go.

I wanted to stay at mATX, and I hate gaming cases. They just seem very juvenile for me and not very appealing.

yes, if you'll grab an ssd later and it's more future proof

if you already bought it, send it back and get another one with sata 3(6gb/s)

http://pcpartpicker.com/part/msi-motherboard-970ag43

this one would be perfect for you but as I see that you have an mATX pc, get this

http://pcpartpicker.com/part/asrock-motherboard-960gmu3s3fx

also, try to look at the chipset of the board too ;)

the one that you have right now, can barely "run" that cpu :/
