Use there single checkers on there website.....Or buy a pay as you go sim and see which one gives you the best signal.

They probably aren't but at least that gives you a reason to cancel the contract. 

**FUN FACT**
When you see an advert that says 99.9% coverage, thats only for inside the M25, as long as that has good coverage you can tell everyone you have good coverage. Thats how they draw people into there contracts. O2 claims to have high signal coverage, but as soon as you leave a town your back to 2G.
