Wrong usb headers /ports

So, my build is an older generation and my motherboard only has usb 2.0 and my case is new bur has usb 3.0. I want to be able to use my case usb ports, so is there a way to convert case usb 3.0 to a motherboard usb 2.0 with some kind of adapder or something?

Yes, there is. Just google  "usb 3 to usb 2 adapter"  or "usb 2 to usb 3 adapter" (also replace adapter with header) , you can easily find them in stores or on eBay.
