My specs are,
   CPU:    AMD Athlon 64 X2 4800+
   MOBO: KA3 MVP

   RAM:    4 GB (4x1) DDR2 @ 393MHz (5-5-5-16)

GPU:    ASUS GTX 650Ti BOOST (due to motherboard its only running at PCI 1x16)

Additional:

   2x CD/DVD writter readers

   1x 230 GB hard drive

1x 120 GB Intel SSD boot drive

Okay, so as you probly noticed my cpu is woefully underpowered compaired to my gpu I need a MOBO/CPU/RAM upgrade and want to know what I should go with. I was thinking Intel 3770K with 8gb of ddr3 ram on a motherboard that has two PCIE 3x16 slots for future upgradeablility. Possibly a second GTX 650 Ti Boost.

The thing is I need a computer that will be able to get about 60 fps on gmaes to come. (DOES NOT HAVE TO MAX SETTINGS ON FUTURE GAMES). But at the verry least I need a MOBO/CPU that wont need to be upgraded for another few years. This build has lasted me a good six years but it is time for a upgrade.

I have bf4 purchased along with hopes of getting into RTS games and I do enjoy a good proccesor heavy flash game every now and then.

EDIT: oh yeah I have a black with blue build and on a ~$500 budget. Maybe an msi blue mobo with blue corsair vengence ram?

Depending on your budget i wouldnt jump into an i7, an i5 is nearly as great and a lot cheaper, in your case you need to get a new hard drive as well, you dont have a lot of space, maybe get a new case, you havent stated what it is currently but i doubt its anything to get crazy about.  Also get a new psu if you can.

Yeah, try and go Hazwell if you can if your budget or psu don't agree then I'm not really sure.

I guess what I'm saying is to try not to go with an 1155 or am3+  build because those sockets are slowly dying and there won't be any new chips for them anytime soon.

Be more descriptive. Workstation is very vague and what you should get changes depending on what kind of work your'e doing.

Skip the psu upgrade if your current one is good enough.
