No output from GPU all of a sudden.

Go to solution Solved by Sors,

Seems very unlikely that both GPUs would fail simultaneously, even more since the stream was still playing fine in your phone while the video was already out.

Sounds more like a problem with the cable or with your monitor.  I would test those in another system if possible.

I was streaming one day and when I started up a game, the screen went bad, almost as if the driver crashed. However on my phone the stream looked perfectly normal, even though I couldn't see anything on my monitor.

So I did a hard reset, and launched obs and the game. The same issue happened again. Perplexed, I hit the reset again. This time the monitor displays no signal. The PC gets to post and all the fans (including the one on the GPU) are spinning.

As I'm only running one GPU, I went ahead and took it out and put in the other one (the xfx one in my signature). The same thing happens, no signal to the monitor.

Now, im thinking it's either both gpus, the pci connector (I tried one other pci and it did the same thing) or the display port cable. If anyone knows what's going on or has any ideas, I'd appreciate your input.

Other info: windows 10 CE, before this problem, I defaulted the BIOS to factory and only have 8 GB ram installed
