my pc is still restarting at random

my computer randomly restarts while playing games (csgo h1z1) and others i have a 650 watt gold psu. intel i7 lga2011 gtx 970 asus p9x79 deluxe

Is it doing a hard restart (your computer just cuts to a black screen like you ripped the power out), or does it restart like when doing a windows update (your computer shows "Restarting")?

I actually couldn't underclock my 5 year old GPU to make it as slow as a next-gen console.
