Ok guys so I'm building my first pc and I want to use the ASUS Maximus IX Extreme and my first question is if there is an Intel core i9 chip that will fit in that board's socket or is I stuck with a core i7 7700K?

Money is not an issue also I hate the X299 boards that are out. here is a PC part list that I'm putting together.

Update: 001

Second question

Where is the best place to buy glass tubing? already have the cutting tools but I'm looking for the best bang for the buck so to speak

The ASUS Maximus IX Extreme uses the LGA1151 Socket, which the i7 7700K uses. The i9 chips use LGA2066 Socket. So yeah, you're stuck with the 7700k

So you prefer the Maximus to a board and seperate block?

And the Poseidon compared to 1080ti with a block?

yes it's more visually appealing it's a themed build meant for processing streaming video editing and programming plus that's just what i prefer
