GnuTLS error -48: Key usage violation in certificate has been detected

Theres an issue with your certificate. How did you generate it?

Hello,

I was setting up an FTP server using Windows Server 2016's built in IIS. It is setup to require SSL authentication and I have a self-signed cert. setup for that. Whenever I try to use FileZilla to connect to it, I keep getting this error.

GnuTLS error -48: Key usage violation in certificate has been detected.

I have no idea what this means and my googling has yielded me nothing. If someone does know what causes this and/or how to fix it, your help would be greatly appreciated.

I made it with IIS. I saw this and decided to make it with PowerShell, worked just fine that way. Thank you for the pointer.
