Help with OC ASAP

So, on the latest video about the 6 weird GPUs Linus talked about the MSI's 1050ti mini. I have and I live in northern europe. Those were (and still are) standard at computer workshop where I was a part timer this spring and we sold a huge amount of lowprofile PCs such as Lenovo M77, M96 and so on. MSI's 1050 and 1050ti were the only ones that we used that came with the lowprofile bracket. I bought one for myself to use over my old R9 280 and I've liked it alot, but I don't if it's me or something in my computer, but I can't overclock at all. If I do, my screen starts flickering or windows stops working completely, so I have to a safe launch into Windows and delete MSI afterburner from my PC. I don't if it's because it does not have external power input, it gets all of its power straight from the MB. Any help, I am not a noobie on this, but I have tried everything and nothing works.

Probably hitting power limits (because no PCIe power connector) so I don't think there is much you can do. Sorry.

Yeah since that card gets only power from the PCIE port it gets unstable when overclocked. But if you still wanna Overclock you could try another OS other than Windows 10. I say this because the blocked OC on the G3258 and to enable OC you must change some values in Regedit. It might apply to that card maybe, just maybe.

Yeah 75W from PCIE slot clearly is only enough to power the card at full load, any more overclock will make it unstable.

Or you could just be unlucky with the lottery, because I was unlucky and my old rx 580 couldn't run stable with a 30hz (lol) overclock with maxed voltage and temp limit.
