Hi,

I have a ASUS Strix 1070 OC 8GB with Aura sync, but my motherboard doesn't not support aura sync and it doesn't have rgb headers so my led strip is indepedently controlled with a remote. The problem is that I decided to make a setup with some philips hue bulbs and the led strips all controlled by a raspberry pi so everything is synced up. The only remaining part that needs to be synced is my graphics card. I don't really know how to do it, I looked up online and found the aura sdk but it looks like I need to have an asus motherboard to make it work. I was wondering if there was a way to directly control the leds with some code, actually what I would like to do is control my graphics card led from the raspberry pi, I had the idea to make a program on my computer that is waiting for a signal, and when it receives one from the raspberry pi, it changes the color according to the color I choose with the raspberry pi.

I hope it's clear, I can give more info if you need.

I would imagine that it would be easier for you to somehow "intercept" the RGB signal that's sent to the GPU and send it to raspberry pi and change your other lights. It would probably be easier to get the signal rather than set it and you would be able to set your room lighting from the aura app.

If you were looking for a really quite ghetto solution, you could disassemble the GPU cooler and literally "intercept" the signal straight from the leds and send a wire to a raspberry pi.

Try, fail, learn, repeat...

That toolkit has 3 library, VGA too, no working samples, is Ambilight compatible with RGB LED 4 headers as on these generation Aura, i have seen Ambilight working on Raspberry, but how can you control the StriX 1070 RGB on that Raspberry too.

Give me some time, i need to see some SKD mods, are there there any, a quick workaround....

The problem is that I don't necessarily want all the light to be the same colour, and aura is bit limited also.
