Hey community,

Have a list going on, and for a long time I've had the Deepcool RGB 350 strips. I love RGB lighting effects, so I put it on the list. The other day, friend recommended me the NZXT Hue+, said it was miles better.

What do you guys think? It's way for expensive, but is it worth it? Here's the list just in case:

1. Why 1TB x2 storage?

2. No SSD present?

3. GTX 1060 are ridiculously overpriced now, I suggest look at used GTX 980 or get a GTX 1070/980ti

4. Not sure how I would trust a cheapo keyboard and mouse

1. I'm dual booting Ubuntu and Windows, but want them on separate drives

2. Yeah, thinking of buying one later down the road.

3. Yep, I'm not buying it now I'm waiting for the prices to decrease

4. Friend of a friend has it, he says it works pretty well

EDIT: Also, CableMod looks awesome, but only one 60cm strip? Is that enough?

1. You can create different partitions on same drive

2. Cool

3. Cool

4. You could spend a bit more for a great mechanical keyboard from Corsair or G.Skill which is nice

I'd honestly would just get a motherboard with an RGB ecosystem like Asus Aura or something, and then just get regular RGB strips that you can plug into the motherboard for the same price as the controller box and the strips.

No Ryzen support AKAIK

Are there any Asus Aura mobos that have an AM4 chip socket?

There are like 4 others, but this has Aura at a B350 price point.

Pretty much anything with matching pin layouts, but if you want quality I suggest going with the cable mod strips without the controller that @CableMod suggested.
