MOBO Audio

Maximusfoximus

I just bought the Logitech Z333 speakers for my desk setup and media consumption room. I am planning on building a pc for the room as well and was wondering if motherboard DACs make a difference. The speakers are rated at 80 watts, 8 ohms, and 96 decibels. ASUS for example advertises supreme and unparalleled DACs on their high end like the ix hero, but would a lower end motherboard, say an MSI Z270 SLI, be the same in terms of driving my sound system?

No problem, didn't realize I wasn't supposed to. Thanks for the heads.

Get better speakers before you start worrying about which DAC is better..

Yes I agree, don't need a DAC or AMP for such cheap speakers

Don't worry about a dac for speakers until you have much better speakers. I was going to say a price, but that's stupid.
