Hi!

I'm about to upgrade my PC, i have had it since 2013.
have just installed new air-cooler(hyper 212x) for my i7 4790 since the aio cooler pump died, and changed paste on my gpu.

Thinking about getting a rx vega if it's on par or better than gtx 1080 at the right price.
(while writing this i found gtx 1080 ti fe for 410$ and ordered it,was 870$!, hope it's not just something wrong in the system since cheapest 1080 non ti is 650$)

my current specs
PSU - coolermaster b500 500w
CPU - i7 4790 @ 4Ghz
GPU - xfx r9 280x dd 850mhz  @1000mhz (cant handle higher clock, crashes)
MOBO - msi z97 gaming3
RAM - 16gb 2400mhz ddr3
1 hdd
1 sshd

1 ssd
4 case fans ( 2front 1 bottom one back) cpu fan for the 212x.

Should i upgrade to CORSAIR PSU TX650M gold or any other in that price range at 100$?  (psu calculator recommends 600w for my current gpu)

You don’t have to upgrade the PSU, but it wouldn’t hurt. How did you find a 1080 ti for $410? Also why do you have a locked CPU on a Z series board, and you had a water cooler on it?

The shop might have added the wrong price, will know on monday if they message me as they can cancel the order :)
The z series cost almost the same as any other mobo at the time, taught it might be cheaper if i decide upgrading cpu later.9_9
water cooler was just for noise, and was cheap xD
