Unfortunately, i only just ran out of that...
I've heard that nail-polish remover would work, but does it have any side effects? (like if a bit spills on the motherboard, etc...)

Hello everyone,

I installed a corsair H100i about a year ago. Except I installed it upside down. :S
Knowing that not too much would happen, I just left it on. Now however, I want to install it the right way up.
I don't have any special cleaning products for removing thermal paste, so how do i get it off (Can i just use water or something?)
Thanks for your assistance!  :)

Regards,

Pythons

Thanks for the help everyone!

If you don't have pure rubbing alcohol, I'd remove the CPU to avoid a possible spill on the motherboard.

Personal build >  New-ish AMD main gaming setup

PLEASE QUOTE OR @ ME FOR A RESPONSE xD

I actually used cotton swabs to clean the CPU, but I'll keep this in mind next time I clean it! Thanks for the advice! ^_^
