And now a little talk about the case for @BazNaz:

Spoiler

You get what you pay for. The case looks very good compared to many other budget cases, but you feel that it is made of less expensive materials; the front and side panel are plastic, but they look very nice and premium when held clean (it will probably attract a lot of dust). The right side panel had a weird wobble on my unit which made it very hard to slot back in when the cables were pushing against it. This could however just be my unit and your mileage may vary. It comes with three accent colors for the front panel (black, white and red) which can be swapped which is handy if you want to change the color theme of the build in the future, and they have this nice premium-looking glare to them (the colors look a bit darker than in the pictures). At first I was sceptical of the cable management room, but the right side (look at the pictures) has a little bump in the panel for cables to go behind. This bump is however really subtle so you won't notice it much.

Let's talk IO. The case has a nice clicky power button which lights up white when powered and even a reset button in the left corner. Furthermore it has a microphone and headphone jack, and a USB 3.0 and a 2.0 port.

Inside the case there is more than enough room to build (keeping in mind that this is a mATX case) and almost all of my components fit with ease. Notice how I said almost? The Hyper 212 LED was advertised on the product page of the case as being able to fit. But the max. cooler height of the case was technically 158mm and the cooler is advertised as 160mm. However, it fits barely with about 2-3mm space between the side panel and the copper pipes. There is a nice mini-rack on the bottom for two 3.5 inch hard drives and one 2.5 inch SSD on top (also see photos). There's just enough room for lazy cable management if you push hard enough.

Overall, a very nice budget case and I would definitely recommend it. A compact case with enough room for normal-sized components (except an ATX motherboard of course, then you should go for the MasterBox Lite 5). If I had a seal of approval, this case would definitely get one.

Why did I name it the Defective Turret Build? Well, just look at a side-by-side comparison with the famous bullet-less turret from Portal:

comp.thumb.jpg.d95b7c0b8a51e68d486189053e842a3c.jpg

...

Alright, maybe it's not the best comparison in the world but I thought it was quite funny to name it that way.

Anyways, I think I explained everything. What are your guys's thoughts? I'm always open for constructive criticism ;)

Yeah, I think that part is supposed to be empty. I kinda like it this way, but I'll look into it :)

It's empty of components in my build, but it's filled with the drive cages, so that adds visual interest. Imma have to figure something out when I go to build in my Evolv though, since that thing is a massive hulking cave.

YES!!! If the OP is near me, I've got a bag of .223 casings and such...Or else just use live ammo (don't let your computer get too hot!), it has the advantage of being useful if the apocalypse happens or an intruder is hunting you inside your house.

I must say that this "upgraded" build looks epic.O.o  Maybe could you place some Portal figurines in your case to fill up some empty space.

Thanks! I do have some lego portal figurines, but those are white and blue and would be in high contrast with the black and red build I think?

Maybe something like this? There are a couple of diffrent colors that would look nice with your build.

Maybe, but that's not in the Netherlands.
