Hello!

I don't really know if this is the right place for this, so if this is in the wrong place just tell me.

So I was planning on doing a PC upgrade after a year, and I wanted to know if this was a good upgrade from my current PC, if it's too much, if some things are not necessary, etc. Just to let you know, the two things that are completely necessary are the case and the headphones, because my dog ripped the headphones out

Current PC:

Note:  The stuff marked as "Purchased" I owned before buying this computer.

Possible Upgrade:

Thanks!

I don't think a new Motherboard is necessary. :/ The fractal case is also awesome, a pity that the headphone jack is broken... why not use the mobo's cinch? :P:D (Matter of taste maybe, but I would stick to the R5, it is awesome, I have the windowless one myself). If you want a new case regardless, check out phanteks p400 and enthoo evolv cases. They look pretty great and come with great buildquality.

Besides that, you already have an SSD for your OS, so I would probably try to get at least a 1tb SSD for games, programs, etc. instead of a 256gig one. Either that, or get a better gpu for the money you save by not getting a new mobo and psu (your old one is fine as is, I don't think you need a new one ;) ) However you decide, have fun building :)

I don't think there is any need for a new motherboard or powersupply so I took them out.

Better new GPU, SSD and headphones
