I am building a new system and have some questions that I am hoping to get some good feedback on in regards to best airflow practice.

Basic overview of the system is a

Ryzen 7 1700x

Corsair H100i v2 AIO CPU Cooler

Asus Strix X370-F

GTX 1080 or 1080 TI - still debating

Phanteks Eclipse P400S TG case

So my main concern is the placement of my AIO cooler and how that will effect my overall airflow in the case vs its airflow to adequately cool.

The P400S can accommodate a 360 rad in the front.  My thought on airflow is to pull in "cool" air in through the front of the case and push "hot" air out the top and back.  My layman's thought is to put the AIO Radiator on the front so the fans are on the front of the case pushing cool air through the rad.  My only concern is that I am then essentially pushing "hot" air through the case and across everything in it. It is my understanding with this case that the only place you can mount a radiator is in the front.

One thought I was having is since this case can accommodate up to a 360 rad on the front is putting the 240 rad in the middle and lower fan position, then putting a 120 fan in the top position to just push cool air into the case.  I fear this might be pushing hot air into the basement with the power supply essentially trapping it there, not too sure about that idea.

The obvious thing to do then is just put the radiator in the top two fan positions and push the hot air through the case.  I guess my question is

1) is there a better recommendation.

2) I don't fully grasp the differences and benefits of different fan types.  If I do this what is my best bet for fans to help get the hot air out of the case going up and out the back?  S
