I do not think that this is the right thread to ask this in but here I go

 

Is the DK2 still relevant in the vr industry because I have come upon a listing of a DK2 headset for 150 bucks and I was wondering if it is a good deal or not and if it is still worth it to buy it or should I just save up for a cv1 instead because it has the touch controller and it is newer with a higher resolution and refresh rate.

is it worth buying still

16 gb ddr3 2400mhz

Gigabyte 990fx mobo

EVGA GTX 980 classified kingpin

EVGA 750 watt 80+titanium psu (if that matters)

You could save the money for future upgrade, your PC could probably run VR well enough though if you want to go for it.

You you is fine for VR, FX is the worse cpu series so idk how well the cpu will be
