I just fired up my PC and it's decided there isn't a keyboard there and it's fair to say there is!

I haven't used it for a few weeks but it worked fine last time I used it, there's a good chance I'm missing something glaringly obvious but literally nothing has changed since I last booted it up I have checked it's all plugged in etc.

I have attached a pic of the startup screen which says 2 mice for some reason, the keyboard (corsair K95 RGB) is lit up as pictured but it just seems to cycle through different colour modes the rainbow one pictured is what it usually does when the power is on but not the PC.

Vety frustrating to say the least.

First off, nice keyboard. Second, make sure that your usb connection is secure, or try to plug in your keyboard to another usb socket, the one you are using may be broken.

try another usb.. try them directly from the motherboard, and prefer black ones for keyboard/mouse (usb2 tends to give better compatability over usb3 and above.. often a different controller is used so anything plugged in won't work properly until it has drivers)

or just press F1 to continue :P (i miss the old error messages)
