I'm thinking Malwarebytes and Kaspersky.

But first, let's talk about parallel universes.

Kaspersky is a pretty good A/V for an all around without any other antivirus program needed. Just get Kaspersky Total Security. The issue with it though is the firewall it uses which may block incoming and outgoing requests depending on what it is.

That would work.  Just don't run two "Active" AVs or they'll fight, since to be effective they have to root themselves so deep in the OS that they might look like a virus to a competitor :P

Solve your own audio issues  |  First Steps with RPi 3  |  Humidity & Condensation  |  Sleep & Hibernation  |  Overclocking RAM  |  Making Backups  |  Displays  |  4K / 8K / 16K / etc.  |  Do I need 80+ Platinum?

If you can read this you're using the wrong theme.  You can change it at the bottom.

So just Kaspersky?

Kaspersky vs. Bitdefender?

I'd still go with Kaspersky, nothing compares to it if you really want to toughen down on security imho.

Because malwarebytes isn't like most "active" AVs where it digs in deep and runs constantly, and instead just runs when you ask, comboing it with anything should be fine.  Just don't do, for example, kaspersky and bitdefender :P

Think I'm going to end up doing Trend Micro Max, they've blocked all threats this year including malware.

comodo is never on these lists because it is default deny, it just blocks /sandboxes everything that isn't on its white list. Bit annoying getting software to work but super effective.

i would care to much about tests, nothing is 100%. That's just 100% of what they had in the test.
