Quite frankly unless you wanna look like some CS:GO Pro player with 4:3 800x600p 600+fps that is a better pick always over going i7 7700k + 1070 [:

i don't have a lot of crap on my pc but I do have 3 screens 

usually 2 tabs 

Skype and discord then a game in the middle, might not sound like a lot but runs so much much better on ryzen

 

reviwers always test on a clean os with only a few games installed
