Hey guys, I just got a new Asrock Fatality Z97 yesterday but for some reason, it is not recognizing my GPU on its PCI-E slot. However, it works on the bottom, PCI-E 2.0 x4 slot. What could be the issue here? I have done the following:

Reseated the GPU
Reset the CMOS

Verified I have the latest BIOS version.
Made sure the power connectors are on the GPU

Also, when I look at the system browser, my motherboard doesn't even think my GPU exists, at all (the slot appears empty on the system browser)

I guess it's DOA then, can happen. RMA'ing is the best option.

go into the BIOS and see if you need to enable the top pci-e slot......... in the days-of-yore you had to do that sometimes/

I looked. It is supposed to be automatically enabled. (if you know something in the BIOS I don't though, that'd be great
