Here's my story on how this happened. First of all my computer ran fine for about 2 months. One day my sister decided turn on my pc and leave it on for like, half the day. When I decided to use my pc I was greeted by the CPU Fan Error message. I looked in my BIOS and my CPU was sky rocketing in temperature and my fans weren't being detected. My guess is that something screwed up whenever I had my PC on for awhile, maybe my pump died or something I have no idea and I'm getting extremely stressed out knowing that I spent a lot of hard earned money on this rig only for it to not work anymore and I have no idea how to fix it.

So here's the information i have:

-  The fans spin on my radiator

- The lights are on the waterblock and everything looks to be working

-  The cpu cooler is connected straight  and firmly to the CPU_Fan header on my

motherboard

-  The cpu water block is firmly connected to my processor, I reapplied thermal paste and made sure the screws were tight.

Here's my PC specs:

i5-7600K

Corsair H100i V2

EVGA Hybrid 1070

Asus Strix Z270i

EVGA G3 550W

Samsung 850 EVO 500GB

Corsair Dominator 16GB 3000Mhz

Try connecting your cpu fan to one of the case fan headers on the mobo. If its detected that means something is wrong with your mobo.

Please mention or quote me if you want a response. :)

Just plugged it into a Case fan header, same thing not detected. Is it the motherboard not detecting anything or is it the water cooler cpu fan not working? I think its the latter? Sucks that I'm going to have to RMA a 3rd part ?

just buy a cheap AIO cooler for now like an h60 or go air and get an evo 212. Just get something on there that's not dead for the time being so you can still use it in the mean time while thinking about what cooling solution you want to replace yours with. The h60 is only 60 bucks and the evo 212 is like 20-40. I keep ones around for backup since they're so bloody cheap.
