Hey guys, im going to get straight to the point. My mom thought her phone was slow, so she thought maybe the case was making it hot. So she took it off and when she put it back she realized it was on backwards, she took it off and put it on correctly. While putting it on right she was restarting her phone, and I guess somehow she factory reset it, and well she wants the old stuff back. I don't know if I can somehow recover it or something. I feel like what she wants the most is the photos she had of us (my family). So really the apps and other things besides the photos and videos don't matter.

edit: the phone is a samsung galaxy s6

CPU - i7-4790k

GPU - MSI 980 Ti

Mobo - MSI Z97 Gaming 5

Memory - 32 GB DDR3

Storage - 3.4 TB

She might get lucky if she was using Google photos. I had something similar happen when I was reinstalling a custom rom on my Pixel. Had to do a flash the phone back to stock (which erased everything), but thankfully my pictures were backed up.

Outside of that, she might not be able to get them back.
