Graphics cards

I have an asrock 970m pro3 motherboard.

I currently use an asus GeForce gtx 960 4gb.

I am looking to upgrade to a EVGA 1060 6gb for my VR preferences. https://www.evga.com/products/product.aspx?pn=06G-P4-6163-KR

 

first, is this new card good enough for vr without OC. Second, is the 1060 compatible with my motherboard?

but your CPU is probably not enough

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...
