So my 1080TI Always ran cool when idle ofcourse but recently its been running at 1544mhz core clock 5805 memory clock when idle o_O

I play some champions online now and then and APB and those games have the card running at lower clock speeds and cooler overall then when i am idle.

Any advice on whats going on would be greatly apreciated.

its probably just ramping the fan up because of the load and thats keeping it cooler

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

Builds:

The Toaster Project! Northern Bee!

The original LAN PC build log! (Old, dead and replaced by The Toaster Project & 5.0)

I have a custom fan curve based on the cards temp i ran champions online for a while at low clock speeds at 39 degrees.

I get on my desktop the clock speeds go up and so does the cards temprature, why would my wallpaper need more gpu then a game?
