Hi, I just set up a windows server 2008 r2 on virtual box and when i connect my other VM up to it shows "the following error occurred attempting to join Domain An attempt to resolve the dns name of a domain controller has failed" but both of the VMS are on a bridged connection. Please Help9_9

Can you ping between the VMs?

Open command prompt and use the ping command.

 

ping [ip address]

example: ping 192.168.1.4
